Miami Swim Week 2013 came to an end on 23rd July 2013, but not without giving beach-goers some serious fashion inspiration for upcoming Summer. The latest swimwear trends seem to have a wild side this season.
And here are some of our favourite designers and looks!
The show featured an eclectic mix of safari-themed suits with backpacks and even a traveler's briefcase. A combination of youthful vibe mixed with both vibrant and neutral colours give this line a fresh look.
The collection was inspired by jungles around the world and punk legends. The two came together effortlessly through bold graphics, dense greenery and animal prints with hints of studs, fringe and 3D florals.
Swimwear also featured necklaces as showstoppers. Some pieces were gold-covered metal with enamel to add some colour while many appeared to mimic flowers and other tropical elements.
Making its debut at Miami Swim Show, this Morocco-inspired collection paired up orange and pink with elaborate prints where rash guards and swim pants were the main fixture. The patterned collection was equally chic yet versatile.
Swimsuits came in just about every style, and beach cover-ups featured harem pants, crochet pullover dresses, flowing maxis, and also a striking orange kaftan.
Mara Hoffman’s collection was inspired by colourful, Indian mythology and elements.
The collection embodied vivid colours, kaleidoscopic prints, traditional motifs, and the mystical theme added an ethereal quality to the beach ready collection.
The collection incorporates a diverse mix of vibrant hues and bold prints resulting in a unique look that is peppy yet refined. Artfully placed embellishments including faceted glass beads and gold hardware in the form of seashells and starfish create a perfect balance on sleek silhouettes.
And there you have it, right off the Miami Swim Show Runway this year, these fashion-forward beach trends will take you well into the upcoming summer season.
See you in 2014!
